Editorial reading
Editorial interpretation: The foundation, consecration and much later cathedral designation offer three distinct historical reference points. Reading them separately helps distinguish the making of a parish church from its subsequent episcopal role.
Recommendation
Check the responsible institution’s current visitor arrangements, conservation closures and accessibility before travelling. Confirm which parts are open and follow local guidance, including worship and photography rules where applicable. The recorded coordinate identifies the heritage place and does not confirm a public visitor entrance.
