Editorial interpretation: Reading the site through successive churches helps distinguish the continuity of location from the dates of particular buildings. This approach makes room for archaeological history without treating every surviving element as equally old.
Aanbeveling
Check the responsible institution’s current visitor arrangements, conservation closures and accessibility before travelling. Confirm which parts are open and follow local guidance, including worship and photography rules where applicable. The recorded coordinate identifies the heritage place and does not confirm a public visitor entrance.
